Veterinary Care With a Personal Touch

Gentle Touch Home Veterinary Care was founded by Dr. Christi Jones, a Dunwoody native who knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the age of six. Dr. Christi earned both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from the University of Georgia, practiced small animal medicine in Dunwoody for six years, and then worked as a relief veterinarian for clinics across the Atlanta area before starting Gentle Touch in 2010. Her goal was simple: give pets and their owners a gentler, more personal way to receive veterinary care.

Today, our mobile practice serves families in Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Johns Creek, Milton, Dunwoody, and surrounding north metro Atlanta communities. You can learn more about Dr. Christi and our staff on our Meet Our Team page.

Why Families Choose At-Home Veterinary Care

Many pets become anxious in the car or in a busy clinic waiting room. Home visits remove that stress and allow us to see your pet as they truly are — relaxed, in familiar surroundings. At-home care is especially helpful for:

  • Pets who become fearful or stressed at the veterinary office
  • Senior pets and pets with limited mobility
  • Households with multiple animals who need care at the same time
  • Busy families who have trouble fitting clinic visits into their schedule
  • Owners who rely on friends or family to help transport their pets
  • Families facing end-of-life decisions who need gentle guidance

Our Mobile Veterinary Services

We provide a range of services designed to support pets through every stage of life. Our vaccinations and well pet care visits keep healthy pets on track, while our basic sick pet care helps diagnose and treat common illnesses at home. For pets living with long-term conditions, our chronic disease and pain management services focus on comfort and quality of life.

When the time comes to say goodbye, we offer compassionate in-home pet euthanasia, allowing your pet to pass peacefully surrounded by the people and comforts they love. We understand how difficult these decisions can be, and we take the time to listen, answer your questions, and support your family with kindness and respect.

A Veterinarian Who Really Listens

At Gentle Touch Home Veterinary Care, we treat every patient like a member of our own family. Home visits give us the time to talk through your concerns without the rush of a busy clinic, so you leave every appointment with a clear understanding of your pet’s health and a plan that fits your household.
