Getting Started as a New Client
Scheduling your first home visit takes just a few steps:
- Contact us – Call or text (770) 709-8899 to request an appointment. We see patients Monday through Saturday by appointment only.
- Complete the New Client Form – Filling out our New Client Form ahead of time gives us your contact information and your pet’s history before we arrive.
- Share your pet’s records – If your pet has seen another veterinarian, having previous medical and vaccination records available helps us provide the most complete care.
- Prepare for the visit – On the day of your appointment, keep your pet in a safe, comfortable area of your home and have any current medications ready for us to review.
What to Expect at Your First Home Visit
Your first appointment begins with a relaxed conversation about your pet’s history, routine, and any concerns you may have. Because your pet is at home rather than in a busy clinic, they are often calmer, which allows for a thorough, unhurried physical examination. We will discuss our findings with you, answer your questions, and recommend a care plan that fits your pet’s needs and your household.
Depending on why you called, your first visit may include vaccinations and well pet care, basic sick pet care, or an evaluation for chronic disease and pain management. For families facing end-of-life decisions, we also provide compassionate in-home pet euthanasia, and we prioritize these requests whenever possible.
Scheduling and Response Times
Routine appointments for wellness care or non-urgent medical concerns typically book 1–2 weeks in advance, while end-of-life requests are accommodated within 1–2 days whenever possible. We strive to return calls, texts, and emails within 1–2 business days. Evening and weekend appointments may be available with advance notice.
Fees and Payment
Our mobile veterinary house call, including a physical examination, starts at $125. Additional fees may apply depending on the care your pet needs, and pricing for treatments or lab work will be discussed with you before your appointment. Payment is due at the end of the visit and may be made with cash, approved check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or Zelle.
